Gute Dinge, die man in Brighton zu sehen oder zu hören bekommt:
1) Alte Männer mit Kangolhats und schwarzgoldenen Tracksuits & kurzrasierte Damen mit "I'm right 94 % of the time, who cares about the 4% left?" - Shirts. Partnerlook.
2) Die Geschichte vom Tru Thoughts Prakti, der als 16-jähriger bloß sein Schulpraktikum im winzigen Tonstudio ums Eck machen wollte, dann allerdings die nächsten Wochen damit zubrachte, einem maskara-verschmiert aufgedunsenen Robert Smith die Gitarre fürs letzte Cure Album zu stimmen. Best Praktikumsreport ever.
3) Slugabed & Donky Pitch. Bei letzteren handelt es sich um eine "wonky-glitch-party-goes-label"-Geschichte, die schon mit so großartigen Leuten wie Debruit & Fulgeance, Tokimonsta oder eben Slugabed zu tun hatte. Offizieller Labellaunch ist Samstag, Weltkarriere dann alsbald. Obigen Witness RMX könnte man schon von der Ninja Tune XX - Box kennen, noch mehr geht allerdings auf der Slugabed Myspaceseite (Donkystomp!)
Das letzte The Cure Album kann man übrigens fast wieder rausholen:

It seems 2010 is starting rather well, with a slew of new releases and announced albums for the first quarter of the year.
