Das hätten sich diese beiden, so unglaublich bodenständigen Sympathikusse aus Chicago auch nicht erträumen lassen. Zu frühen Trax-Zeiten eher eine Außenseiterrolle einnehmend, von Larry Sherman als Klon von Marshall Jeffersons Virgo installiert, veröffentlichten die beiden eine im Nachhinein gerne in einem Atemzug mit "Amnesia" genannte Chicago House Blaupause, die letztes Jahr von den geschätzten Kollegen von Rush Hour neu aufgelegt wurde. Und weil die beiden Virgo-ianer daran offensichtlich Spaß hatten, öffnen sie jetzt ihr Archiv und teilen mit uns nicht weniger als 30 unveröffentlichte Stücke, zumindest auf der üppigen 5LP-Variante. Die CD kommt mit 15 Stücken aus. Für mich selbstredend jetzt schon mit einem fixen Platz in der Jahres-Top 5. Aber hört doch selbst, gemixt hat übrigens Nostalgie-Gott Legowelt himself:

Bevor ich in OMG!OMG!OMFG!-Orgien ausbreche, lasse ich lieber gleich unsere Artikelbeschreibung the talking do-en: Reissue from this incredible disco-funk album, originally relkeased in 1985 on Engineered For Sound. Original is impossible to get and also this repress is a limited edition. A total must for those into Dam-Funk, James Pants and the likes.
