Am 16. Juli, unserem bereits vierten monatlichen Treffen, werden wir Mika Gao (All City, Alpha Pub, Project: Mooncircle) und Daisuke Tanabe (Circulations, Ki Records) als Gäste empfangen und uns von ihren Liveshows beglücken lassen.
Unterstützt werden sie dabei von den Finest Ego DJ's Jinna Morocha, Laurent Fintoni & Synflood, weshalb die ganze Nacht von tiefen atmopshärischen Sounds und knusprig-knackigen Drumsets erfüllt sein wird.

The whole night will, therefore, be filled with deep athmospheric sounds and crunchy drumsets between Wonky, Hip Hop, Electronic and Dubstep.

For our fourth Interview, Dza, from Moscow, Russia, stopped by at Panke to play one of our Monthly Trips and present his Supershark EP, so we took the chance to talk to him about the difference between playing at large festivals versus small clubs, his future plans and some other bullshit for anyone who "never shirks school".

'The Mesektet’, in ancient egyptian mythology, is one of the two solar boats used by the sun god 'Ra’ to travel through the cycle of night and day and carry the moon across the sky. It is told that he died every dusk, had to fight the dark forces of the underworld and bring light to the dead souls as he passed through - just to be reborn in the morning. Just like the sun god, uprising producer fLako uses 'The Mesektet' to end the cycle of darkness and prepare for his own rebirth, marking the end of an era in his style of production and move forward into new musical directions, which he already started to explore on his 'Mini Toolbooth EP'. This release includes a collection of previously unreleased or only digitally available works from the time up until 2008. After the very successful “Finest Ego Weekend“ the Finest Ego Collective is happy to announce The Finest Ego | Monthly Trip. Taking place at club Panke (Berlin, Wedding), this monthly party will focus on future beat music and their creators - the producers and beatmakers.
On the first date (April 16th), Playpad Circus, winner of the Finest Ego Beatmaker Challenge, will play a complete live set with support by the Finest Ego DJ's Gordon, V.Raeter, Jinna Morocha and Malte. Hence, the night will host a broad sonic mixture between Hip Hop, Electronic, Dubstep, Wonky and Glitch.
