Lewis Parker, »the man with the golden sound«, hat mal wieder seine SP-1200 ausgepackt und aus einer Hand voll Samples in Windeseile eine spannende Geschichte erdacht. Dangerous Adventures heißt das Stück in fünf Akten, dass am 17.6. in den Musikzimmern weltweit Premiere feiert. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Gaunerkomödie mit Planet Asia, Vast Aire, dem im letzten Jahr an Diabetes verstorbenen Killa Sha, Eastkoast, Tah Born, T.R.A.C, Sav Kills, Baron und John Robinson in den Sprechrollen. Der gebürtige Brite Parker unterlegt diese mit mal cinematischen, mal knisternden Samples und staubigen Percussions, die auf der fünf Tracks umfassenden EP auch alle als Instrumentals zu finden sind. Und nicht nur das Line-Up stimmt, auch die Verpackung ist ein echte Hingucker mit »Blaxploitation«-Einschlag. Wenige Exemplare sollen sogar mit goldenem Vinyl aufwarten. Das Gesamtpaket ist übrigens auf 500 handnummerierte Stück limitiert.
