Ein Roadmovie auf den Spuren des Hip-Hops, auf den Spuren einer Lebensform und Überlebensstrategie: Vom vereinigten Deutschland nach Frankreich, von Afrika bis nach Israel - unser Film begibt sich auf eine Reise in die Geschichte des Hip-Hops. Die New Yorker Bronx der 70er Jahre war die Wiege des Hip-Hops. Heute ist die Musikrichtung weit mehr als nur ein lässiger Stil: Mit Breakdance und Graffiti hat der Hip-Hop die Straßen erobert und ist zur urbanen Jugendkultur geworden.
