Hercules & Love Affair - Blue Songs

Die traditionell releaseschwache Wintersaison neigt sich dem Ende zu und startet mit einem hoch antizipierten Longplayer. Andrew Butler, Mastermind hinter Hercules & Love Affair, verordnete seinem Projekt eine Frischzellenkur, tauschte mehrere Bandinsassen und reiste nach Wien, wo er den Elektronikpionier Patrick Pulsinger als Produzenten des neuen Albums "Blue Songs" gewinnen konnte. Das Ergebnis klingt tief verwurzelt in der Housegeschichte, kokettiert hier und da mit Wave, Disco oder Detroit und sehnt sich nach den großen Momenten des Popzirkels. Alles in allem, in der Kurzversion: Imposant und fabelhaft. Den Beweis erbringt der folgende Albumstream, den das Label Moshi Moshi freundlichweise bei Soundcloud zur Verfügung gestellt hat.
