Die Chromatics haben eigentlich viel richtig gemacht. Es ist immer von Vorteil rechtzeitig einen Hype loszutreten, um dadurch bei Musik-Connaisseuren diesen "Ja, schonmal gehört"-Effekt auszulösen, wenn die wichtige Veröffentlichung ansteht. Die Chromatics hatten das Glück, dass Kenner sofort das Genie der frühen Demos erkannten und so ihre Musik von Blog zu Blog die Runde machte. Das Witzige ist, dass das jüngst sowohl auf CD als auch Vinyl erschienene Album "Night Life" exakt auf solchen, im Internet verbreiteten Aufnahmen, die bis zum Jahr 2007 zurückreichen, basiert und trotzdem keinerlei Qualitätseinbußen aufweist. Es zählt eben nur die Musik, das Drumherum ist am Ende des Tages eh nur Makulatur.
