Ninja Tune presents Igor Boxx' solo debut "Breslau"

Wo genau liegt der Reiz des Nu Jazz? Eigentlich darin, das ganz Alte mit modernen Techniken und Sounds aufzupimpen, also einen Generationen vereinigenden Stil zu kreieren. Über allem steht natürlich die Coolness und Virtuosität des Modern Jazz, das Rückgrat können mal soulige Drums, mal ein Beat im gepflegten HipHop-Tempo sein, und einem schönen Sample ist man auch nicht abgeneigt . Zweifelsohne zu den besten Nu Jazz Artists zu zählen ist das polnische Duo Skalpel, deren Igor Pudlo aka Boxx in Kürze auf Ninja Tune sein Solodebüt "Breslau" veröffentlichen und damit definitiv auch neue Leute für den Nu Jazz begeistern wird. Wetten?
