"Atomic Clock" lautet der Titel des mittlerweile siebten Longplayers der Sound-Revoluzzer Zion I. Erst einmal Gratulation dazu, denn welcher HipHop Artist hat schon annähernd soviele Alben auf dem Konto? Richtig, da muss man schon weit in die Vergangenheit blicken, vor allem wenn auch noch die Qualität stimmen soll. Dieses Mal geht’s vor allem bei den Beats wieder sehr innovativ zur Sache: Amp Live mischt seinem futuristisch-eletronischen Stil akustische Elemente unter, dazu sind die Tempi eher im relaxten Bereich angesiedelt; außerdem ist bei diversen Tracks der Einfluss von Dub Reggae unüberhörbar, wodurch der Zion I-Stil eine weitere Facette erhält. Und Zumbi hat es offenbar gut getan, an der Seite Prince Po's seine Skills zu schärfen... Vertrieben wird das Ganze von Gold Dust Media, erhältlich sein werden Vinyl und CD ab Anfang November, hier können bereits PreOrders platziert werden.
