N*E*R*D x Daft Punk - Hypnotize U

Nachdem Pharrell Williams bereits für Daft Punks "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" einen Remix beigesteuert hat, haben sich Thomas Bangalter und Guy-Manuel de Homen-Christo aka Daft Punk mit neunjähriger Verspätung bedankt und ihrerseits dem N*E*R*D-Kollektiv mit einer Produktion für ihr im November kommendes Album "Nothing" ausgeholfen. Dieser bombastische Schuffle-Beat funktioniert in rein instrumentaler Form ganz sicher im Kontext des ebenfalls bald erscheinen Tron-Soundtrack, für den sich Daft Punk ebenfalls verantwortlich zeigen, aber Pharrell Willams' Falsetto gibt auf "Hypnotize U" zugegebenermaßen ebenfalls eine ordentliche Figur ab.

Jap, can't please them all.
Spricht nichts dagegen, ein bisschen Ausschussware abzugeben um eine alte Schuld zu begleichen. (und nbenher ein paar Dollars zu verdienen, die man direkt wieder in Vintage-Synths stecken kann) Von Daft Punk erwarte ich längst keine Großtaten mehr, und das sage ich als Fanboy erster Stunde.
