Ja, der Hype um den idiosynkratischen Avant-Step Lad mit dem Bubikopf hat anstronomische Ausmaße angenommen. Nein, "CMYK" ist trotzdem nicht überbewertet. Weil käsige R&B-Samples seit Burial nicht mehr so dreckig und entrückt geklungen haben. Weil James Blake hier seine Experimentierfreudigkeit auf eine gesundes Maß beschränkt. Und weil das drückt, schiebt und rumst. Somit also bereits der zweite absolut essentielle Ausflug von R&S ins Post-Dubstep/Beat-Science/Whatever-Man - Fach, nach Pariah.
