Poet, Sänger, Civil Rights-Ikone, Rap-Miterfinder, Hopkins-Absolvent, Junkie, Sample-Material - Gil Scott-Heron hat alles durch und jetzt wieder genug Kraft gesammelt für ein neues Album, das wohl im Februar 2010 erscheinen soll. Einen Namen hat das Kind noch nicht, aber oben darf man dem Papa bei der Arbeit zukucken und auf seiner Homepage gibt es besagtes "Where Did The Night Go" als kostenlosen Download:
